Has anybody on here with an SST EVO tried their launch control yet? I'd like to get some feedback on it.

Launch refers to an electronic device that is used to assist a Formula 1 driver in the very moment of the start of a race.

Launch control also refers to an electronic setting on many modern sports sedans and coupes that let the driver take off from the line at a certain high speed without the wheels spinning much. Popular cars with launch control include the BMW M series, certain Volkswagens, certain GM products, and the Nissan GT-R.


Basiclly it lets you go when you want without you having to do it.

WOW I know that the GTR comes with launch control but didn't know that the EVO X MR SST comes with it so DO YOU KNOW IF IT COMES WITH IT?

a launch is easy to do in a manual car you have your car rolling, and you drop it to second with the clutch in and rev up the RPM really high and then let go of the clutch and all the power will quickly dumb into the car and you will launch.

Basically its a way to start your car fast instead of going from 0-ect(mph) you start off higher like at 40-ect (mph). Used in drag and street races sometimes.
